*WHEN DID YOU START CLOTHING? I started doing clothing in October 2005, before I was making dread falls when I went to beauty school. I love doing hair, but I realized I loved fashion and can be more creative with it. SPOOKY STAR CLOTHING is a one women based clothing company creating Rock N' Roll couture for girls and guys.

*WHAT'S YOUR INSPIRATION? I am inspired by music, horror movies, and people.

I'm a big music lover and always love rock n' roll band styles and the stage wear they have when preforming on stage. I'm also inspired by people who love to be themselves and wear their own style of clothing that nobody else has and stuff that isn't in malls.

*WHAT KIND OF CLOTHING DO YOU MAKE? I make everything from reconstructed 100% licensed band/horror shirts into tops and bottoms. I design ONE OF A KIND pieces for people who don't want to go to their local mall and look like everyone else. Who like to stand out more and be be themselves. I also make band stage wear for guys and girls.

I sometimes will take Custom Orders depending on what fabrics I can get and can do. Just e-mail me or message me your ideas and I'll see what I can do. :) You can look at my designs to see what I do as well as custom orders from previous customers pics as well.

*WHERE DO YOU SELL? I sell on eBay, myspace, spooky star site, and various other places. I hope to sell in stores soon. So stay tuned for that news.

*ANY PRESS FOR SPOOKY STAR? Yes, I have. I am in the new issue of IMAGO zine from barrie, Canada. It's a awsome magazine started from one girl who puts up and coming new designers of all kinds of styles as well as music and other such things. Pretty neat magazine. My creations are in it in the new #3 issue just out now. IMAGO has has it's own boutique where she sells designers clothing peices and fashion shows that my creations were in as well. Some were on tv for a charity event.

 * WHATS THE FUTURE FOR SPOOKY STAR? I plan to make my business bigger. Make more pieces for people to buy in stores, do some more fashion shows, magazines, and more soon.

*ABOUT MYSELF? My name is Meredith and I'm 22 years old now. I was born in Ohio and am relocating to LA soon. I have always been into music my whole life since I was a baby. I started playing guitar when I was 10, then went onto bass and drums. I love playing music, it's the best. I also am a very creative person and love doing fashion. When I was younger, I wasn't into it as much til I get a little older and realized I love it and making awsome pieces for people from musicians, music lovers, horror fans, people who love their own styles. I do every style even petty pink polka dots.

I also love animals. I have 3 dogs of my own. And I am currently training to be a Dog Trainer/ Behaviorist dealing with dogs with aggression and other sorts of bad behaviors or mistreated dogs. I love it and it's rewarding to help. So it's nice to be able to do a bunch of different fields of work than just a boring 9-5 desk job. I'm not the person who can stay still for 8 hrs in one place. I'd go insane. ha. But that's a little about me. :)
